The show ‘In View’ at The Art Center Highland Park ended on January 17, and I’m so glad I got to go see it twice, once on a day when I could spend unlimited time taking the art in, and on an evening when I decided to attend a sound meditation at the gallery. Both times I was struck by the quality of the work itself and the huge variety of styles, subjects, media, and presentation. A few photos from the show:
I am taking a break from teaching until Spring, and anticipate starting classes again the week of March 16. I will send an email out when registration becomes available on OPAL’s website.
During this break I have begun a new series of paintings loosely based upon a group of studies I did in late 2025. More on that soon …
