This weekend I will have a bunch of ornaments, cards and small works at the Pop-Up Holiday Bazaar Makers Market at The Oak Park Art League. The market is open both Saturday and Sunday, 10:00-4:00 and 1:00-4:00 respectively, and I am one of many artists participating. Hot cider, tea, and a bake sale fundraiser will also be there, along with a cozy holiday atmosphere far from the malls and big box stores. Stop by 720 Chicago Avenue, Oak Park for unique gifts and some fresh baked treats.

I also have a painting in the upcoming In View show at The Art Center Highland Park, opening tomorrow evening 5:30-8:00 pm. The show will be up until January 17, and I am one of 82 artists who have work in this exhibition. The galleries at TAC are really beautiful, and the art center itself is in the charming downtown area of Highland Park.

I am about to wrap up a nice run of teaching classes this fall, starting in early September through next Friday. It has been really nice to be back in the classroom with so many talented artists, and though I will be taking winter off to work on a new series of paintings, I plan to return to the classroom in spring of 2026.

A happy holiday season to everyone, and hope to see you in the new year! : )
